Sponsorship packages

The founding members are happy to hear your ideas on whether any of the various sponsorship packages already established suit your objectives or on how a package can be tailored to meet your organisation’s objectives. Your sponsorship will ensure you receive excellent tailored branding that will provide clear exposure to our delegates and our stakeholders in the lead up to, and at the Conference. At this professional Conference your organisation will be positioned to build and reinforce relationships through premium recognition of your contribution to primary health care.

Delegate profile

With a passion for primary health the three principal target audiences are:

  • clinical, managerial and community leaders from organised primary health care organisations around the world, primarily PHOs and IPAs in New Zealand, members of the Australian General Practice Network and Medicare locals in Australia, and equivalent ‘meso’ level organisations in Europe, the UK, North America, and Asia-Pacific;
  • policy makers, strategists, researchers, planners, funders and purchasers, and health service professionals; and
  • consumers of health services, with an initial focus on peak representative bodies.

Benefits of sponsorship

The Conference provides sponsors with:

  • exposure at the second WHCN Conference;
  • association with organisations committed to and involved in transforming primary health care;
  • extensive networking opportunities;
  • relationship building in the company of highly dedicated professionals;
  • opportunities to contribute to international discussions and innovative solutions on primary health care;
  • opportunities to discuss partnerships with the founding members of the WHCN, and with other potential members who participate in the Conference;
  • ability to demonstrate evidence as a good corporate citizen committed to improving the health and wellbeing of communities, with a particular focus on people who are most disadvantaged;
  • increasing your company’s insight into future trends;
  • association in quality, innovation and excellence;
  • exposure of new products/services through exhibition opportunities; and
  • potential for new markets through growth in international profile.

Promotion of the WHCN Conference

A range of strategies will be used to promote the WHCN Conference in Australia and New Zealand, as well as internationally. The Conference has its own website containing all information delegates require ranging from registration to accommodation. The Conference is also heavily promoted to national, local and industry press, through direct mail and an e-bulletin sent to potential delegates and to those who have registered.

A comprehensive contact list is being developed of organisational and individual stakeholders in other parts of the world – in Europe, the UK, North America, and the Asia-Pacific, for example – and appropriate promotional opportunities will be identified and followed up with these stakeholders. The aim is to generate a “network of networks” working to promote both the Conference and the opportunity for involvement in an international movement committed to becoming a force for change and for better health on a global basis.

The WHCN website is www.whcnetworks.com. The Australian General Practice Network website is www.agpn.com.au and General Practice New Zealand website is www.gpnz.org.nz. Both the Australian and New Zealand websites have direct links to the Conference website.
